We are entering a new phase in software engineering. AI can generate code, create tests, execute scenarios, and validate behavior at scale. Execution is no longer the hard part. This creates an uncomfortable reality: testing, as an activity, is losing value. QA will not stop testing. Testing will still happen, but it will focus on critical parts of the system — where failures really matter.
